Lucy- my love, my dog






We put my dog, Lucy, down on Friday. I am so heartbroken I cannot even tell you. I miss you so very much Lucy. You will NEVER be forgotten, EVER. I adore you with every bit of my heart and always will. I remember the day we took you home from Iowa; you cried the whole way! You were such a chunky little white baby lab, everyone used to say, "WOW! How did you get a WHITE lab? I thought you could only get yellow!?" You were special Lucy, you always were and you always will be. Remember the time you bit my ear accidentally and we almost had to go to the hospital so I could get stitches? You big dork! Lucy was incredibly kind and gentle, she would never hurt a fly. Everything good you can think of about a dog was Lucy. She was a darling dog and she will be missed forever. I hope that you are with Maggie now and Grandpa David playing and eating popcorn together. We miss you so terribly here but we know you are at peace finally. No more pain Lucy.

    Oh, what an absolute sweetheart! A huge smile to go with her big heart ... :) I am so, so sorry to read this. Such a loss, because a dog's love is purely unconditional ....

    I am so sorry - you will always have wonderful memories of Lucy and that's something that can't be taken away. She was beautiful. We lost Sam (also a lab)and I treasure our photos and memories. Thinking of you xxxx

    Alpal, Lucy was an amazing pooch--a gentle animal who loved being your pet and my friend. She will be missed but we have great memories that will last a lifetime. All dogs go to heaven. She's playing in the clouds with Maggie and Seebee and Gem Bagel.

    Allie - so sorry to hear about Lucy. When I put my pooch, Scooter, down it was a VERY sad day. Hopefully they're up in doggie heaven drinking out of toilets and sticking there heads out of windows together!

    So sorry ...I was missing my dog, who's name was lucy and that we had to put down - she was the cutest angel ever sent down to us, so, i was saying that i was missing her so much and I wrote in google "lucy my dog" ... and there you and your lucy came up :-)

    What happened to Lucy? I know how hard it is to lose a pet and I don’t ever want to experience it again. Anyway, I’m sure Lucy is happy wherever she is right now.
